The 2050 Institute is a think tank, research, and policy consulting network advocating for a paradigm shift in how we reduce energy use and GHG emissions in the Northwest and beyond. The 2050 Institute uses a strategic “2050” lens to design frameworks, policies, codes, and programs that interlock technology, energy, and climate action across regional, state, local, community, and utility platforms. Poppy uses a systems approach and design thinking to move beyond rhetoric and identify the deeper system dynamics and analysis necessary to align policy mechanisms with actual energy and GHG reductions.
